Campus Development

Innovation Park Zurich is being developed adjacent to the Dübendorf military airfield. The extensive site, which includes airplane hangars and operational buildings, is gradually being transformed into one of Europe’s largest innovation hubs.

During the first phase, the listed airplane hangars will be renovated and adapted to meet the needs of ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich Space Hub. These institutions already conduct research and development projects for students on campus. Office space, laboratories and workshops will be set up in these open halls with a transparent design. Testing and meeting areas will also be added.

The second phase involves constructing nine new architecturally outstanding buildings. Innovation Park Zurich will rent out flexibly usable space to companies that drive innovation and want to collaborate with a university or research institution.
